Monthly Class Led by Philip Angel

On the last Shabbat of each month, Philip Angel will lead a class following kiddush focused on the liturgical texts that we most often sing and say. 

Along with an occasional mindfulness exercise, our discussions will include a literary and grammatical analysis of the Hebrew sources texts which is intended to be both accessible and provocative.

Philip is excited to help create more options for adult learning in our community and especially the opportunity to talk and reflect on how prayer is important to our lives. 

This monthly kiddush and learning series is sponsored in loving memory of Philip’s son Avraham Hanoch Levy Angel, nicknamed Lev.
