If you don’t see an answer to a question you may have, feel free to email us and ask!
Does FJC Hebrew School offer after school pick-ups?
While we do not currently offer an after school pick-up, in the past, our parents have coordinated with one another to pool resources to hire a babysitter or volunteer to bring kids over.
I have two (or more) children in different grades, can they attend the same class?
We understand the convenience of having siblings attend class together; however, we find that it is best for both students and teachers, that all students remain in an age-appropriate class setting where they will receive lessons specifically formatted for their age group.
Are snacks provided?
We will have limited snacks available, therefore encourage students to bring their own.
Does my child need to have had a brit milah in order to participate in FJC Hebrew School programming?
No, that is not a condition to attend.
How much is tuition and where can I make a payment?
For nonmembers with children in PreK – 5th grade, tuition is $2,200, and for members it is $1,750. Our B’nai Mitzvah Program tuition is $2,500 for nonmembers and $2,050 for members.
Tuition can be paid via PayPal or check made out to Flatbush Jewish Center. Visit our Program Registration page for more detailed information, including the registration forms themselves and the PayPal link.
Are payment plans available?
Yes! To inquire, please contact the office.
Are there any discounts available?
Tuition is discounted for members (see above, or Program Registration for the rates). There is also a 10% discount for sibling enrollment.
