Purim at FJC

It’s Purim!!

We’re so excited to be back together for this Purim! We’re starting the celebrations early this year and can’t wait to see you!

3/13, 1pm: Costume Making!

Still need a Purim costume? Join us on Sunday, March 13, 1-3 p.m., for an all-ages costume-making workshop. Led by beloved FJC Hebrew School teacher and multimedia artist Chanan Ben Simon, you can craft that hat or cape or tunic you’ve been dreaming of. We’ll have all the materials you need to make your Purim dreams come true!

$10/costume-maker or $20/family. Masks required. If you know you’ll be there, please email office@flatbushjewishcenter.com with RSVP so we can make sure to have enough supplies.

3/16, 5:30pm: Kids costume parade and singalong!

Join us before megillah for singalong, crafts, costume parade and snacks for kids! Starting at 5:30pm, before the megillah starts.

3/16, 6:30pm: Megillah Reading & Festivities!

Megillah reading will start at 6:30pm in the main sanctuary. Afterwards the party moves back downstairs for light refreshments, and music from the FJC Teen Band!

Mishloach Manot

It’s a mitzvah! Don’t forget to send in your form to participate in our yearly FJC community Mishloach Manot fundraiser. It’s a great way to send a bit of joy around our community.
