About the Series

Tzedek LaKol’s first big initiative is the launch of a three-part speaker series, We Shall Not Be Silent: Conversations On Race. The series theme was Inspired by the words of Rabbi Joachim Prinz, from his remarks at the March on Washington, August 28, 1963.

We Shall Not Be Silent focuses and centers these necessary conversations by examining racism through national, Jewish, and local lenses, consisting of three virtual fireside chats moderated by a member of the CSH congregation. Open to CSH members and the entire North Shore community, this free series will be presented via Zoom webinar. At the conclusion of the series, Tzedek LaKol will gather our CSH family virtually to process and center together what we’ve learned with an engaging conversation.
